Kirsty Darkins is a Chartered Surveyor with 27 years’ experience in commercial property, an active investor, and founder of KD Commercial. She began her career in corporate property, working with organisations including Boots, CBRE, and Hammerson. But over time, she realised that while the work was rewarding, the corporate model didn’t offer the flexibility and freedom she wanted, prompting her to focus on building her own commercial portfolio and establishing KD Commercial.

For the past 7 years, Kirsty has mentored property investors who want strong, reliable income from commercial assets, without the process becoming a full-time job. In 2025 alone, she has had 300+ one-to-one commercial property strategy conversations, working closely with investors navigating today’s market. She combines hands-on investing with sourcing and asset-managing commercial property for private clients, with a clear focus on disciplined, income-led investing that fits around real life - not the other way around.
