There will be a particular focus on the development of Tatu City, where NEXT's project 'NEXT AMANI' is located.

It will also consider other investment projects.

Mary Chakvetadze

Mary Chakvetadze is a Brand Ambassador for Kenya and Sales Manager at NEXT, an international property development and investment company headquartered in Georgia. At NEXT, she has been successfully covering and promoting the company’s extensive portfolio of premium and luxury properties across three continents, in Georgia, Kenya, and the UAE, serving clients from 65 countries.

Before transitioning into the private sector, Mary spent 11 years in public service and foreign affairs, including four successful years as an Economic Counsellor at the Georgian Embassy in the UK, where she played a key role in strengthening British-Georgian economic and trade relations.

Preston Mendenhall

Preston Mendenhall has more than 20 years of experience in emerging markets. Based in Tatu City, he manages the 5,000-acre Special Economic Zone in Kenya and Rendeavour's operations across the company's new city developments.

Previously, Preston was Head of Marketing and Public Affairs at Renaissance Group, an emerging markets investment firm based in Central & Eastern Europe. Prior to Renaissance, he was Vice President for Strategy at Russian Standard, Russia’s leading global consumer brand with interests in financial services and alcohol beverage production and distribution.

From 1993 to 2006, Preston was a producer and correspondent for NBC News, covering global events in the Soviet successor states, Europe, Central and South Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. Preston is a graduate of Cornell University and Phillips Exeter Academy.
