Getting into small scale property development
Details:
Small-scale property development is the strategy now being adopted by savvy investors and landlords looking to maximise their returns.
Sweeping new Permitted Development Rights have made it easier for people to convert small commercial buildings, generating substantial six-figure profits in short timescales, working in their spare time and with no prior development experience.
For existing landlords the results can be truly transformational, particularly with the right buy-to-let strategy.

Speaker Profiles

Cofounder | propertyCEO
Ritchie Clapson (CEngMIStructE) has been involved in property development for over 35 years and, as co-founder of propertyCEO, he coaches both novice and experienced property developers how to create substantial returns from small-to-medium scale developments.
Ritchie’s development pedigree speaks for itself. A structural engineer by profession, he’s not only worked on hundreds of new-build, commercial and industrial conversion projects, he’s also trained and mentored countless developers and property professionals during his long career in the industry. A business coach and strategist, he built up one of the country’s leading structural engineering firms and was appointed by the government as peer review engineer for the London 2012 Olympic Stadium. Today Ritchie and his business partner Ian Child head up propertyCEO, one of the country’s most exclusive property development training companies.

Co-Founder | ProperPR & Housing Market Commentator
Russell Quirk is well known in the property industry as both an estate agency boss and PR guru.
He’s been round the block a few times having run traditional and online businesses in the sector for over 25 years and is infamous for his opinionated and straight-talking stance on anything and everything property. He takes no prisoners.
He’s a regular pundit on housing matters for Talk TV, LBC and the BBC and is a founder panellist for TalkRADIO’s 'Plank of the Week’ on YouTube, a wry critique of media types that "are just asking to have fun poked at them", says Russell.
