Back in the summer of 2020, the NRLA and Property Tribes announced a content collaboration featuring a regular interview and discussion between Property Tribes' co-founder Vanessa Warwick and NRLA  CEO Ben Beadle.

Calling this the 'Landlord Lens', every month, they look at the trending topics - the most popular discussions on Property Tribes and discuss them - as well as answering viewers’ questions about the issues of the day.

The 'Landlord Lens' aims to serve up the very latest intel for property investors in this rapidly-changing world and act as a guide and signpost towards the most important information to help landlords steer their way through the numerous challenges ahead.

Vanessa Warwick is co-founder of landlord forum & community, Property Tribes, as well as being a landlord since 1992 and a portfolio landlord since 2004.  Vanessa is in regular demand for her commentary and insights, and has contributed commentary to mainstream media such as The Sunday Times, the Telegraph, the Guardian, and Estates Gazette.  

She also co-hosts the “Landlord Lens” webinar with NRLA CEO, Ben Beadle, where they discuss trending topics for landlords.

Being a community manager, Vanessa has her finger on the pulse of what is causing landlords pain, and the topics that are engaging them and she writes many articles to educate landlords on best practice, risk mitigation, and how newbies can get started in BTL safely.

Ben Beadle

Chief Executive | National Residential Landlords Association

Ben Beadle is the Chief Executive of the NRLA, the membership body that represents over 100,000 landlords across England and Wales. A landlord for 20 years, Ben has had a lengthy career in housing holding senior roles at Places for People and TDS and is a familiar face in the sector and in the media.

The Association was founded in 2020 and helps landlords – big or small – navigate the many challenges of the private rented sector, providing first class support, advice, learning resources and services as well as a powerful research and campaigning.
