Fractional Ownership in Co-living Property Portfolios
Details:
3 out of 4 people in the UK spend 8-10 years of their lives in co-living properties as students and young professionals before they get married and settle down. This presents a multi-Bn £ opportunity for investors. Students and young professionals are the country’s future, and we must invest in them.
At Novyy, we do our part by investing in affordable co-living housing assets which is largely an unorganised segment of the market. Over 90% of such housing assets are held by private landlords which presents a significant opportunity for Novyy and our investors. New-built PBSA (purpose-built student accommodation) form less than a quarter of the required inventory and are usually more expensive owing to their modern amenities and build costs. We focus on existing stock - HMOs (Houses in Multiple Occupation) and SFRs (Single Family Residences) which cost tenants £110-£150 per week and is within the means of domestic students and young professionals. We source, acquire, finance and continue to manage these assets on behalf of our investors.
